Description

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I'd like to use the spring generator but it only allows me to use List.
Using List requires me to gather all data in memory before hand over to spring, putting some pressure on the JVM heap.

Describe the solution you'd like

I'd like to add another option to the generator to allow using java.util.stream.Stream instead of List.
I'm actually going to implement that to solve my problem.
That's why i'm opening this issue, to get feedback.

Describe alternatives you've considered

I couldn't think of any alternative.

Research direction

Start with the Spring generator and its generated Java API return types; identify where the List choice is configured and which generated outputs it affects. The work is done when a generator option produces java.util.stream.Stream instead of List and the affected generation tests cover both choices.
