Research direction

Start by locating the generated JavaScript client's fetch setup and reproducing the CardControllerApi getUsingGET call with Portable-fetch. Confirm the expected fetch availability and that the call completes without the TypeError; the issue provides no specification, generator version, or command to narrow the investigation.
