Description
Description
When using the maven plugin, the wrong folder is added as a compile source root.
Without configuring a <sourceFolder> the code is generated in to:
target/generated-sources/openapi/src/gen/java
However, the code appears to be adding
target/generated-sources/openapi/src/main/java
as the compile source root. See here: https://github.com/OpenAPITools/openapi-generator/blob/master/modules/openapi-generator-maven-plugin/src/main/java/org/openapitools/codegen/plugin/CodeGenMojo.java#L827-L835
Workaround
Explicitly specify the <sourceFolder> in plugin <configOptions>.

Research direction
Start in modules/openapi-generator-maven-plugin/src/main/java/org/openapitools/codegen/plugin/CodeGenMojo.java around lines 827-835 and compare the configured compile source root with the generated path when sourceFolder is unset. Done means the Maven plugin adds target/generated-sources/openapi/src/gen/java, while preserving the documented sourceFolder workaround behavior.
