Description

Description

When generating a Java client and activating the option <useJspecify>true</useJspecify> the for the packages

  • <apiPackage>
  • <invokerPackage>
  • <modelPackage>
    a package-info.java file containing a @org.jspecify.annotations.NullMarked annotation is generated. However, such a package-info.java is missing for the <invokerPackage>.auth sub-package.
openapi-generator version

I'm using the openapi-generator-maven-plugin in version 7.24.0.

Suggest a fix

Add a authPackageInfo.mustache to https://github.com/OpenAPITools/openapi-generator/tree/master/modules/openapi-generator/src/main/resources/Java/auth and generate the package-info.java.

Research direction

Start in modules/openapi-generator/src/main/resources/Java/auth and inspect the existing Java auth templates. Reproduce generation with useJspecify=true using openapi-generator-maven-plugin 7.24.0, then verify that the invokerPackage.auth output contains package-info.java with the expected NullMarked annotation.
