Description

I was trying to experiment with importMappings settings because I'm trying to generate multiple libraries with some dependencies to avoid duplicated objects generation within multiple libraries.
So the basic idea is to have

libA
libB // some libB models depends on some libA models

I was able to use importMappings with some outcome for Java and Kotlin, but when it comes to Swift the importMappings settings seems to be ignored.

Does swift5 generator support importMappings settings?
If so, what would be the recommended way to set it up?

maybe also @4brunu can help in here 🙏

Thank you in advance.

Research direction

Start by checking whether the swift5 generator documents or consumes the importMappings setting, then compare its behavior with the Java and Kotlin generators described in the report. Confirm whether the setting is supported and, if so, identify a reproducible configuration; otherwise document the limitation or required change.
