Description

Description: When I have multiple GitHub accounts, each registered with its own security key, I encounter an issue during login. The authentication process does not allow me to choose which account to log in to, even though each account uses a separate security key. This causes confusion and makes it difficult to access the intended account.

Steps to Reproduce:

Register a different security key for each GitHub account.
Attempt to log in to GitHub with one of the security keys.
Notice that there is no prompt or option to select which account to authenticate, despite using separate keys.
Expected Behavior: When using a security key, the login flow should allow users to select the GitHub account they want to access, especially when each account is tied to a different security key.

Actual Behavior: No option is provided to choose between accounts. The login process is ambiguous and may log in to the wrong account.

Environment:

Browser: [your browser name and version]
Operating System: [your OS]
Additional Information: Please let me know if you need further details or logs.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the login flow with two GitHub accounts, each using a separate security key. Fill in the browser and operating-system details, then determine whether the behavior belongs in this firmware repository and identify the relevant authentication entry point. Done means the intended account can be selected or the issue is shown to depend on an external GitHub login flow.
