Description

This might not be useful, but I ported some of the tests to the Catch framework from gtest in an attempt to find an issue with the tests. If we wanted to switch to that, the branch is here. https://github.com/OSVR/libfunctionality/tree/catch

Research direction

Review the current gtest-based tests and the linked Catch branch first; the issue names no files or test commands. Confirm the intended framework and migration scope, then use the project's test and build setup to verify that the converted tests pass.
