Description
With the new Zotero plugin, it is now possible to edit a citation, which is good.
While editing a citation, it is possible to remove one of the references inside the citation, but it is not possible to add a new one.
I am not sure would the best UI to do that.
Maybe, while the "edit citation" window is opened, selecting a reference in the left pane and clicking "insert citation/reference" would add this reference into the existing citation (instead of creating a new citation).

Research direction
No file or test is named in the issue. Start by locating the Zotero plugin's citation-editing flow and the existing "insert citation/reference" action; determine how the edit citation window handles selections in the left pane. Done means a selected reference can be added to an existing citation without creating a separate citation, with the behavior covered by an appropriate test.
