Description

cohort_attribute table is deprecated in CDM 6, but is referenced in this package in 'Creating covariates using cohort attributes'

https://github.com/OHDSI/CommonDataModel/issues/212

Covariates using cohort attributes is an important and useful functionality. We just need a new home for the cohort_attribute table, or drop reference to CDM - as CDM does not have these tables.

Research direction

Start by reading the “Creating covariates using cohort attributes” material and the linked CommonDataModel issue 212. Compare its references with the COHORT_ATTRIBUTE.md and ATTRIBUTE_DEFINITION.md pages linked in the report. Done means resolving whether the cohort_attribute concept has a supported home or removing the outdated CDM references consistently.
