8.0.3 broken $select on EF6

Problem
After upgrading from 8.0.0-preview3 to 8.0.3, when ever I query with $select the following exception is thrown

Any advise ?

Reproduce the failure using the reported .NET 5, Entity Framework 6, and OData 8.0.3 setup with the shown AddOData wiring and a $select query. Start from ODataResourceSetSerializer.cs at line 148 and trace the projection that reaches EF6. Done means the same $select request completes without the IEdmModel constant-value exception.
