Description

Checks

  • I confirm I have restarted NotePlan and this problem still persists.
  • I confirm I have reinstalled the Plugin and this problem still persists.
  • Is this a repeatable problem?
    • Not at will.

System

  • Device OS: Mac OSX 15.3.2
  • NotePlan Version 3.16.2
  • Plugin Name & Version Filer 1.2.0

Describe the bug

Using the Move Command, there are random times where it seems to copy the note to the new location. However, it will leave the note in the original location.

I cannot consistently reproduce this and I later realized I have two notes with the same heading. This has been happening for a while. I have been using NotePlan for a few years.

I am removing some additional questions from the bug template because I cannot reproduce this at will.

Research direction

Start by inspecting the Filer plugin's Move Command and investigate cases involving two notes with the same heading. Try to reproduce the report on NotePlan 3.16.2 with Filer 1.2.0; done means the move no longer leaves an original note behind when the command moves a note.
