Description

Hi,

Saw in a firewall log that a dockerized NPM instance is trying to contact IP 150.171.109.101 on port 80, apparently used by Microsoft (Azure).

What's the reason for this?

I have a domain "being letsencrypted" but for totally different provider than Azure/MS.

Research direction

No source file or test is identified in the issue. Start by reproducing the outbound request from the dockerized NPM instance and tracing which component or Let's Encrypt-related operation makes it; done means explaining the Azure endpoint and confirming whether the contact is expected or should be prevented.
