Description

Anubis is, as described by the it's website,

"a Web AI Firewall Utility that weighs the soul of your connection using one or more challenges in order to protect upstream resources from scraper bots.

This program is designed to help protect the small internet from the endless storm of requests that flood in from AI companies. Anubis is as lightweight as possible to ensure that everyone can afford to protect the communities closest to them."

From looking at the docs, I believe that integrating Anubis into Nginx Proxy Manager with maybe like a toggle for enabling/disabling it on each proxy host, shouldn't be an impossibility and would go a long way towards protecting websites and services from AI crawlers and bots.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by reading the Anubis documentation and reviewing how Nginx Proxy Manager configures proxy hosts; define the per-host enable/disable behavior and verify that enabled hosts are protected without changing disabled hosts.
