vmaf score decreased when SAO enabled

Description
I have tested some x265's parameters based on vmaf. It is found the bitrate-vmaf curve become lower when SAO enabled, while psnr and ssim r-d curve become higher.
It looks that SAO can truly improve subjective quality of clips on lower bitrate, would that mean vmaf(current version) can’t detect some attributes SAO based on that are good for the visual quality? Thanks
