Description

I found a new tool makesense who is trying to do the same thing that you're already doing. Probably with some new thoughts in mind. I recently asked the author how that tool is doing differently: https://github.com/SkalskiP/make-sense/issues/23

The author responded that we need multiple clicks while labeling in imglab. Though I didn't understand it well as I can control most of the things with tab or other hotkeys. However, is it possible to simplify the view to speed up the labeling process?

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by comparing imglab’s labeling workflow with the referenced make-sense discussion; done would require a concrete, agreed simplification that reduces the interactions needed for labeling.
