Description

I think the issue is described quite well here:

https://github.com/tjvantoll/nativescript-IQKeyboardManager/issues/42
https://github.com/tjvantoll/nativescript-IQKeyboardManager/issues/54
https://github.com/tjvantoll/nativescript-IQKeyboardManager/issues/69

It has a temporary workaround as mentioned here, but wrapping in scollview is not always possible.

Hopefully this can be fixed for NS 6 and 7.

Research direction

Start by reading the three linked IQKeyboardManager issues and the referenced workaround to understand the reported overlap behavior and its constraints. Then locate the NativeScript plugin entry point for keyboard handling and reproduce the problem on a bottom-of-page text view; done means the overlap is fixed without requiring a ScrollView wrapper.
