Description

This could be achieved by analyzing the YOY results with a sliding window, for example. It's currently possible with the data in calc_info['YoY_values'] returned by degradataion_year_on_year, but could be captured in a function.

Research direction

Start with the existing degradataion_year_on_year results and inspect calc_info['YoY_values']. Define how a sliding-window analysis should assess non-linear degradation profiles, then expose that analysis through a function; done means the functionality can evaluate those profiles from the YOY results.
