Description
#50 adds a tray_layouts.json database but layouts are repeated for unique IDs eg two 2x2 entries, each with their own tray ID, repeat the layout for each entry.
It would be better to centralize the layout somehow, so the layouts only appear once each, and then associate the multiple IDs with their respective layouts separately.
Not sure how to do this at the moment.

Research direction
Start by inspecting tray_layouts.json and locating the code that reads or associates its tray IDs and layouts. Centralize each repeated layout while preserving the associations for every tray ID, then verify that the existing tracking behavior still works.
