Description
Currently, I don't think this combiner could be used as a commodity stream in a finance group since it doesn't combine capacity factor and rated production (but - that could be done with a normal combiner). Just a note.

Research direction
The issue does not name files, tests, or an entry point; it originated in a discussion on pull request #480. Start by locating the multivariable combiner and the commodity stream or finance-group usage, then clarify the intended handling of capacity factor and rated production with maintainers. Done should include an agreed scope and corresponding test coverage.
