Description

Describe the bug

I updated HL2 RTX and Portal RTX to Remix 1.2.4 and when I launched them, they had heavy artifacting around objects. Once the replacement assets loaded my frame rate tanked below 10fps as well. The game would also be very prone to crashing. I'm running on a Radeon 6700 XT, Ryzen 5600 and 32GB DDR4 3200.

How do you reproduce the bug?

Run an RTX Remix game with version 1.2.4 on a PC with an RDNA 2 GPU and wait for any replacement assets to load in.

What is the expected behavior?

The game should be running without any artifacting or heavy slowdown.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue with Remix 1.2.4 on an RDNA 2 GPU while replacement assets load. Inspect bridge64.log, bridge32.log, and remix-dxvk.log alongside the reproduction; done means artifacting, severe slowdown, and related crashes no longer occur in the reported scenario.
