Description
Describe the bug
In SCP: Containment Breach, there are surveillance cameras and monitors in a few of the rooms. When rendering these monitors, the player's view incorrectly snaps to the surveillance camera, causing a rapid flickering effect between the two perspectives that is quite annoying.
How do you reproduce the bug?
- Download
dx7.games.zipfrom latest release of dxwrapper by elishacloud (currently this one as of writing) - Download SCP: Containment Breach v1.3.11 (latest version, free from the official scpcbgame)
- Install RTX Remix and dxwrapper into the game directory
- Download options.txt, rename it to
options.iniand replace the existing file inside of the game directory. - Download rtx.txt, rename it to
rtx.confand place it in the game directory. - Launch
SCP - Containment Breach.exe - New Game -> Make sure
Enable intro sequenceis off -> When loaded into the game, walk into the next room, you should begin to see the bug take place. The game may crash a few times before you can reach the room, I had to boot the game about 6 times before I was able to record the footage I shared.
What is the expected behavior?
The in-world monitors should correctly display the security camera feed without affecting the player’s camera.

Logs
the only log files i found in the entire directory were these three from remix/logs:
remix-dxvk.log
bridge32.log
bridge64.log

Media
Note: When I toggle ray tracing off in this video, you can see that the monitor still isn't rendering. However, running the game with just DxWrapper shows the monitor working fine. Also the recording seems to be interlaced. No clue what happened there, but it should still be able to represent what the bug is doing.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue in SCP: Containment Breach with the provided options.ini and rtx.conf, then review remix-dxvk.log, bridge32.log, and bridge64.log alongside the video. Done means the in-world monitor displays the security camera feed without snapping or flickering the player's camera.
