Description
Describe the bug
When launching the game, this error appears most of the time, making it annoying to enter the main menu. This bug does not happen when disabling fullscreen or enabling borderless windowed, but those options result in a rasterized image in-game.
How do you reproduce the bug?
- Download
dx7.games.zipfrom latest release of dxwrapper by elishacloud (currently this one as of writing) - Download SCP: Containment Breach v1.3.11 (latest version, free from the official scpcbgame)
- Install RTX Remix v0.6.0 and dxwrapper into the game directory
- Replace
options.iniwith use the one that I have provided in this issue. I use a 1920x1080 monitor, so you may change it as required, but I've heard there can be inconsistencies with this game on higher resolution monitors. - Launch
SCP - Containment Breach.exe - The error will appear most of the time, though get lucky and you will be able to reach the main menu.
What is the expected behavior?
The player should be able to consistently enter the game without the appearance of an error

Research direction
Start by reproducing the launch failure with SCP - Containment Breach.exe, RTX Remix 0.6.0, dxwrapper, and the supplied options.txt. Read d3d9.log, NvRemixBridge.log, SCP - Containment Breach_d3d9.log, and the crash dump to identify the failing component. Done means the game consistently reaches the main menu in fullscreen without the unexpected issue.
