Description
Describe the bug
when launching the game randomly capturing a scene caused the game to hang with the debug message
already existent layer after clicking abort/ignore the game continues to run after 10 seconds~ it hangs and exports a usd of file size 1kb
importantly this is happening even if no captures are in the capture folder
How do you reproduce the bug?
unsure perhaps downgrade and upgrade remix versions and try to capture
What is the expected behavior?
the runtime should capture a scene and export a scene with meshes and materials

Research direction
Start by reviewing the attached hl2_d3d9.log, NvRemixBridge.log, d3d9.log, and crash dump for the “already existent layer” failure during capture. Reproduce the hang if possible; done means a scene capture completes and exports a USD file containing meshes and materials instead of a 1 KB file.
