Describe the bug

I'm using apps that rely on OpenCL. Latest updates on my distro - it seems - upgraded the drivers from the proprietary ones to the new nvidia-open-driver-G06-kmp-default. Desktop works fine without glitches, but clinfo returns 0.
I spent hours trying to figure out if I missed some packages, but never got it to work.
I had to reinstall the proprietary drivers from nvidia website to get it to work.
Is there something I'm missing?

To Reproduce

Install nvidia-open-driver-G06-kmp-default on OpenSuse Leap 15.6 with all the dependencies. Run clinfo. Returns 0.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue on OpenSuse Leap 15.6 with nvidia-open-driver-G06-kmp-default and run clinfo, checking the installed dependencies. Compare the result with the proprietary driver and inspect the open GPU kernel module sources for the OpenCL support path. Done means clinfo detects the RTX 4070 Ti under the open driver.
