Research direction

Start by reproducing the timeout with gddccontrol on Fedora 36, kernel 5.19.7, and the GTX 1660 Ti, both with and without nvidia-drm modeset=1. No source file or test is named; trace the nvidia-gpu I2C timeout path and determine whether it is handled by this open module or only the proprietary driver. Done means the cause is identified and launching gddccontrol no longer produces the reported timeout.
