Research direction
Start by reviewing the nvidia-open-driver-G06-signed-cuda-kmp-default package and the listed NVIDIA package versions, then reproduce the upgrade with sudo zypper dup and a reboot. Compare the installed 580.105.08 packages with the repository's 580.119.02 versions; done means the packages are consistent and GDM no longer crashes after boot.
