Description

I have used the warp and blend features outlined in the nv-contro-warpblend.c sample code for many years now with different NVIDIA RTX cards on Ubuntu Linux.

Since the switch to the nvidia version 570 from 550 today they don't work any more.

There is no error, the warping and blending simply stopped. I have reverted to driver version 550 and the code started working again.

Is there any change on how the warp and blend features of the NVIDIA RTX cards are acessed which is not reflected in the nv-control-warpblend sample code?

Cheers
Reto

Research direction

Start with the nv-control-warpblend.c sample and reproduce its warp and blend behavior on Ubuntu with NVIDIA driver versions 550 and 570. Compare the results and determine whether the sample needs updating for driver 570; done means warp and blend work again with the newer driver or the incompatibility is clearly documented.
