Description
Description
Allow self-managed NVCF deployments to use customer-managed NATS, Cassandra, and OpenBao instead of requiring every dependency to be installed by the bundled stack.
Definition of Done
- Supported and unsupported external dependency modes are documented for NATS, Cassandra, OpenBao, and related infrastructure.
- Installation and configuration contracts are defined for bundled, customer-managed, and hybrid modes.
- The boundary between pluggable dependencies and multi-control-plane deployment is documented.

Research direction
Start by locating the existing NVCF deployment, installation, and dependency configuration documentation. Compare the current bundled-stack assumptions with the requested customer-managed and hybrid modes, then document supported combinations, configuration contracts, and the boundary with multi-control-plane deployment. Done means all listed dependency modes and boundaries are explicitly covered.
