Self-managed operators need to turn NVCF usage into internal cost allocation or customer billing, but there is no supported integration path that covers usage metering, invoice generation, and billing-provider handoff.
Describe the solution you'd like
Expose and document the usage records needed for billing, then provide reference integrations that transform those records into billable line items and invoices for external billing providers. Operators should be able to select the provider used by their deployment.
