Description

The markdown output can get very wide for benchmarks with a lot of parameters. Some ideas for saving horizontal space:

  • Drop redundant info
    • power of two expansions
  • Compact parameters
    • Use state.get_axis_values_as_string() instead of column-per-axis
    • Move param names out of table.

Research direction

Start by locating the markdown output implementation and the use of state.get_axis_values_as_string(). Review how benchmark parameters and power-of-two expansions are rendered in the current table. Done means the markdown output uses less horizontal space while retaining the necessary benchmark and parameter information.
