Description

All the matrices tested in ann_vamana.cuh have host_dataset set to False. When I try a new input with dataset on host, I get CUDA Illegal Memory Error.

Research direction

Start by reading ann_vamana.cuh, where the tested matrices use host_dataset set to False, and reproduce the Vamana build with a host-resident dataset. Trace the host_dataset path and verify the build completes without a CUDA illegal memory error.
