Description

Description

Why classes like IRuntime use VRuntime as implementation instead of directly use a non-abstract class like RuntimeImpl and implement it? I do not see any meaning of using this abstract class as implementation class? Can anyone answer this question?

Research direction

Start by locating the definitions and usages of IRuntime, VRuntime, and RuntimeImpl in the TensorRT source. Trace how the virtual class is used as an implementation and identify the architectural reason for that choice. Done means providing a clear explanation grounded in the relevant source locations.
