Description
AMGx currently supports Nvidia GPUs through CUDA.
We want to contribute a new backend through Intel's oneAPI SYCL. This would enable support for Nvidia, AMD and Intel devices with a single backend.
Would you be interested in this feature support?
If so, what would be your recommendations towards supporting this new backend?

Research direction
The issue names AMGx's existing CUDA backend and proposes a new Intel oneAPI SYCL backend, but it does not identify files, tests, or backend entry points. First review the project's backend architecture and determine the scope of supporting Nvidia, AMD, and Intel devices; done would require an agreed implementation plan before coding begins.
