Research direction

Start by investigating whether AMGX supports a double-precision PCG solver with a single-precision AMG preconditioner, as described in the issue. Check the available solver and preconditioner configuration and documentation; done means establishing whether this mixed-precision setup is supported and documenting any required usage or limitations.
