Research direction
Start by locating preprocess.py and read how interactions are currently loaded and ordered. Implement the four checklist behaviors for session-based sequences, including configurable minimum and maximum lengths, then verify each option with the script's existing usage or tests if present. The issue does not name specific tests or an entry point beyond preprocess.py.
