Motivation: @danielballan's suggestion in https://github.com/NSLS-II-CHX/chxtools/pull/16#discussion_r158046163:

https://github.com/NSLS-II-CHX/chxtools/blob/master/chxtools/chx_utilities:

  • caget shouldn't be used in a plan.
  • get rid of ascan and other old ophyd API.
