Description
AMSR2 is going to be decommissioned August 31, 2026 and AMSR3 is expected to be operational during July-August 2026.
For the GFSv17:
The work should be confined in this repository
- Add a new AMSR3 obs space
yamlin thejcb-gdasrepository and update the commit in therelease/gfs.v17branch. - Use the AMSR2 converter to process the AMSR3 sea ice concentration retrieval
Anything beyond v17:
- Add the same AMSR3 obs space
yamlin thedevelopbranch - The processing should be handle in
obsForge
