Description
Why us?
We are the core developers of VirtualiZarr stores and espouse the power of these stores for performant analysis across datasets. It’s about time we expose that through an API.
Why now?
Not having timeseries support is a barrier to incorporating virtual datasets we develop into the VEDA UI interfaces.

- Architectural decision record has been reviewed and approved by the ODD team and any relevant stakeholders outside of the ODD team. For example, Harmony may be interested in adopting the API once it exists.
