Description

Evaluate whether the MonteEventGenerator capability from the older Blackbird geometry model should be added to the consolidated geometry library. If Monte integration is still relevant, port the capability using the current libraries/geometry APIs rather than copying the old implementation directly.

Research direction

Start by comparing the older Blackbird geometry model's MonteEventGenerator capability with the current libraries/geometry APIs. Check whether Monte integration is still relevant and identify the behavior that would need to be supported. Done means reaching a clear decision or porting the capability through the current geometry APIs rather than copying the old implementation.
