Description

ION has notions of event sets containing events with correlated actions. These event sets can be correlated to policy rules. Consider this design for BSL.

Currently, BSL maintains policy rules with a single "action on fail", whereas ION event sets would allow for more fine operability.

Research direction

Start by reviewing BSL's current policy-rule representation and how it models a single action on failure, then compare that with ION event sets and correlated actions. The issue names no files or tests; completion would require an agreed design for event sets, correlated actions, and their relationship to policy rules.
