Description

ait.core.cmd.validate() fails if any argument is of type ait.core.dtype.ArrayType. The validate function behavior should be modified if ArgDefn.type == ArrayType(elemType) so that the elemType is compared to the list of primitive types.

Research direction

Start at ait.core.cmd.validate() and inspect how ArgDefn.type is checked against primitive types. Trace the ArrayType(elemType) path and identify the existing validation coverage. Done means array arguments validate successfully when their element type is supported.
