Description
While developing SunRise adaptations, we learned that while AIT allows for sequences to be extended, the documentation is not clear on this.
Reference: https://ait-core.readthedocs.io/en/latest/extensions.html
So please add sequences as another extension point.

Research direction
Start with the extensions documentation at https://ait-core.readthedocs.io/en/latest/extensions.html and review how extension points are currently described. Update that documentation to explicitly include sequences, then verify the published or locally built page clearly lists sequences as an extension point.
