Description

The server port inbound streams use gevent.server.DatagramServer to handle data receipt. We pass only a port during initialization which results in an address family of AF_INET6 being used. This can be a problem depending on how you're planning to interface with the server.

https://github.com/gevent/gevent/blob/master/src/gevent/baseserver.py#L415
This is what is handling the address / socket family parsing in gevent.

I have no poked thoroughly to see what else is impacted by this. I believe it's only inbound streams but we should double check. It seems like we can fix this by making a small adjustment to what we're passing to the DatagramServer initialization under location

Research direction

Start by tracing the inbound stream initialization under location and inspect how arguments are passed to gevent.server.DatagramServer. Check whether streams beyond inbound handling are affected, then verify that the server uses the intended address family and that relevant behavior remains correct.
