Description
This is probably a limitation of the toolkit and can't be implemented by you unless toolkit add it, but in case something could be done: inertial scrolling from trackpad is pretty common nowadays and would be a nice comfort addition.

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points; start by identifying the toolkit used for trackpad input and its scrolling support. Confirm whether inertial scrolling is exposed by that toolkit, and consider the work done only when Gittyup provides inertial trackpad scrolling or the toolkit limitation is documented clearly.
