Description

When showing only the selected branch and a merge happened also the other branch is then shown in the commit list. In this case it is difficult to see the own created commit.

This is usefull especially for really large repositories.

First steps

  1. Read the whole issue, then the project's contributing guide.

  4. Open a pull request that references the issue number.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue by selecting a branch that contains a merge, especially in a large repository, and observe the commit list shown by the Gittyup GUI. Trace the selected-branch filtering behavior and verify that commits from the merged branch no longer appear while the selected branch's own commits remain visible.
