Description

When a bucket exceeds a certain size (e.g. 1200, called pruning threshold), automatically delete:

  • All except the smallest and the most recent issue for each quality level with increasing quality (worst first)

until you hit the pruning goal (e.g. 1000). The algorithm should only delete as many entries as are necessary to hit the pruning goal and prefer older issues when deleting.

Research direction

Start by locating CrashManager's bucket-size handling and existing issue deletion logic. Trace how quality and issue age are represented, then define tests for pruning from the threshold to the goal. Done means only the necessary entries are deleted, preserving the smallest and most recent issue for each quality level while preferring older issues.
