Research direction
Start by reproducing the reported flow with Kimi Code CLI 1.43.0: install it, run /login, authenticate with a Google account, and select the Free plan. Trace the /login authentication entry point and capture the exact paywall error. Done means a Free-plan account can authenticate and use the CLI without that error.
