Description
Yes, I read faq. But now motor stops active development in favor of PyMongo and PyMongo develops async client. Also uMongo and MotorEngine is not actively developed.
Is there plans to adopt asynchronous PyMongo client when it will be released to stable? Or async is impossible because of some mongoengine architecture decisions?

Research direction
No source files or tests are named. Start by reading the linked FAQ and PyMongo async tutorial, then review the MongoEngine architecture relevant to its database client and ODM behavior. Done would be a documented feasibility decision and implementation plan for adopting the stable asynchronous PyMongo client, if compatible.
