Description

Libresprite file support should be added with automatic treatment of animations as video data. An edit button should be available in the asset editor window that opens the ase file in libresprite and updates the asset once the external tool finished.

Research direction

Start at the asset editor window and trace the current asset import and update flow. Determine where an edit button can launch the external Libresprite tool and how completed edits are detected. Done means Libresprite files are imported, animations are treated as video data, and edited assets update after the tool finishes.
