Description

Maybe it would be a nice idea to have a sequencer-style UI widget enabling one to define custom filter updates that should be triggered at predefined time steps. Regarding the usability, it would be crucial to have text completion based on the available filters and their supported update mechanisms (the auto completion query module could be reused for the CLI as well).

Research direction

Start by reviewing the existing editor UI and the auto completion query module mentioned in the issue, then inspect how the CLI currently handles filter updates. Clarify the sequencer interaction, supported time-step behavior, and completion requirements before implementation; done means a usable widget can define scheduled filter updates with completion for available filters and mechanisms.
